This is the official site of “Nature & Innovation Center – Natinno”.

The overall goal of the project “Nature & Innovation Center – Natinno” is to transform the former primary school in the village of Poleto, Simitli Municipality, into a cultural, educational and scientific institution of nature and innovation with local and national significance, which will give new life to this emblematic building for the village, in which the children of the village of Poleto received their primary education for more than 50 years.

Goals of "Nature & Innovation Center - Natinno"

- Educating and informing people (especially children) about the diversity of the world's wild fauna, providing information about the habitat and lifestyle of each of the exhibited natural cultural values ​​/exhibits of taxidermy animals/;

- Attracting the interest of people (especially children) in learning about and protecting the world's wild fauna, by using innovative technologies (VR/AR technologies, holographic images, etc.) to create a close-to-reality idea of ​​how animals hear, see and move;

- Cultivating an understanding of the importance of wild animals in nature and encouraging the protection activities of wild animals, by presenting educational video and audio materials about the world's wild fauna;

- Provision of workspaces and a modern material and technical base for training in the field of IT and innovation;

- Ensuring the sustainability of the implementation of the National Program "Training for an IT career" /program of the of the Bulgarian Education Ministry /on the territory of the Municipality of Simitli and neighboring municipalities, through various forms of student stimulation and financial support for the implementation of the program;

- Providing an opportunity for students who have successfully completed the National Program "Training for an IT career" to work at the "Nature & Innovation Center - Natinno".
